Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage, Commander of the Army, this afternoon (6) addressed the remaining sections of the 53 and 58 Divisions under the 1 Corps HQ at the Army Headquarters after inviting them to the Army Headquarters.

During the address, the Army Chief explained current developments in the country and how Army troops should respond to developing challenges.

Senior Officers including Major General Crishantha Gnanarathna, Commander 1 Corps attended the address.
