    The Inter Regiment Athletics Championship of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force (SLAVF) began Tuesday (20) morning on a grand scale at Diyagama Mahinda Rajapaksa Stadium, Homagama. Major General Piyal Wickramaratne, Commandant, SLAVF who is behind organizing the mega event with the support of all SLAVF Battalions, graced the opening ceremony this morning as the Chief Guest.
