Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP ctf-ndu psc IG, Commander of the Army, attended a religious programme organised by the Security Forces Headquarters (West) on 07 September 2025 at Sri Bodhirajaramaya Temple, Panagoda, in line with Binara Poya Day.
The programme was conducted with the objective of invoking blessings on the Armed Forces and paying tribute to the fallen War Heroes who made the supreme sacrifice for the nation.
During the event, the Army Chief participated in the almsgiving and joined the dhamma sermons conducted by the Maha Sangha.
Major General U.K.D.D.P. Udugama RWP RSP USP ndc psc, Commander Security Forces (West), Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks and a large gathering of devotees from the area were also present at the religious observances.
