Army Athletes Shine at ITMA Asian Muaythai Championship 2026

Sri Lanka Army Muaythai athletes delivered an outstanding performance at the ITMA Asian Muaythai Championship 2026, held from 28 May to 02 June 2026 at the Goldi Sands Hotel, Negombo.

More than 140 athletes representing 14 Asian countries participated in the championship.

The Sri Lanka Army athletes secured an impressive medal tally of two Gold medals, eight Silver medals and three Bronze medals, making a significant contribution to Sri Lanka’s overall success at the championship.

These achievements were attained under the guidance of Major General G.S.K. Perera RSP ndc, Chairman of the Army Muaythai Committee.
