Deputy Chief of Staff Visits ‘Abhimansala 1’ Wellness Resort – Anuradhapura

Major General U.K.D.D.P Udugama RWP RSP USP ndc psc, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army and Colonel of the Regiment of the Gajaba Regiment, along with Mrs. Udari Anupama Gamage, Chairperson of the Gajaba Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch, visited the Abhimansala I Wellness Resort on 06 June 2026.

During the visit, the Deputy Chief of Staff and the Chairperson of the Gajaba Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch held cordial discussions with the resident War Heroes and the staff of the wellness resort.

Brigadier P. S.K. Ranathungamage RSP psc, the Commandant of the wellness resort, briefed the visiting delegation on the current status of the resident War Heroes and the overall functioning of the facility. Following discussions with the relevant authorities, the Deputy Chief of Staff provided immediate solutions and guidance on several requests and challenges faced by the residents and the management.

As a gesture of appreciation and care, a special lunch was arranged and gift packs containing essential items were distributed among the brave War Heroes residing at the wellness resort.
