Past pupils and students of Vijaya College, Matale, honoured their distinguished alumnus, Major General M.G.W.W.W.M.C.B Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc, Chief of Staff of the Army, during a special felicitation ceremony on 06 March 2025.
The event celebrated his dedication, bravery, and leadership, while acknowledging the pivotal role his alma mater played in shaping his character. Upon arrival, he received a warm welcome from the principal.
In his address, he expressed gratitude to his teachers and alma mater for their contributions to his journey, emphasizing how military life had prepared him to face any challenge.
At the conclusion of the event, the Senior Officer was presented with a memento in appreciation of his service to the country.
