Troops of 12 GW Conducts a Donation Programme

Under the supervision of Brigadier M.G.A Malandeniya RSP, Commander of 231 Infantry Brigade and with the leadership of the Commanding Officer of 12th Battalion, the Gemunu Watch (12 GW), the troops of 12 GW organized a donation programme for 722 students of Vijaya Parakrama Primary School and Palatiyawa Primary School at Kalukale in Dimbulagala on 05 January 2025.

The event was graced by Major General K.V.N.P Premaratne RSP USP psc, Commander, Security Forces (East) as the Chief Guest.

The financial support for the initiative was generously provided by Mrs. Suranjini and the members of the Tharana Foundation in Colombo.

Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks, Principal, Teachers, Children and Parents participated in the programme.
