Student Officers of SCC No. 13 Visit Army Headquarters

The Student Officers of Senior Command Course (SCC) No. 13, who are designated to assume the role of Commanding Officers in the Sri Lanka Army, conducted a visit to Army Headquarters on 26 March 2025 as part of their course curriculum.

Following a group photograph, the Army War College delegation attended the lecture delivered by Brigadier W.M.N.K.D Bandara RWP RSP USP ndu psc, the Director Training, on the topic "The Role of the Contemporary Battalion Commander".

The informative lecture was followed by a question-and-answer session, providing Student Officers the opportunity to interact with Principal Staff Officers. Concluding the day's events, the Army War College delegation visited the Directorate of Operations and the Directorate of Military Intelligence.

Major General M.G.W.W.W.M.C.B Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc, Chief of Staff, Major General A.H.L.G Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc, Deputy Chief of Staff, Principal Staff Officers, Senior Officers and Officers participated in the programme.
