Major General M.W.A.R.C Wijesuriya RSP USP ndc assumed duties as the 43rd General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 21 Infantry Division amidst religious blessings and military formalities at the 21 Infantry Division Headquarters on 13 June 2025.
The newly appointed GOC was accorded a Guard Turnout by the troops of 2 (V) Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment, followed by a Guard of Honour. In his address, he shared his vision for the future of the Division.
Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks were present at the occasion.
