Director Engineer Services Visits 17 ESR

Brigadier Y.K.S Rangika psc ptsc, the Director Engineer Services (DES) conducted an official visit to the 17 Engineer Services Regiment (ESR) on 28 December 2024.

Upon his arrival, he was accorded a drive pass and warmly welcomed by Lieutenant Colonel E.A.D.P Edirisinghe Lsc, the Commanding Officer of the 17 ESR.

Following this, he posed for a group photograph, planted a mango sapling, and addressed the troops. In his address, he expressed his appreciation for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to the Sri Lanka Army. Thereafter, he attended an All Ranks tea.

Later, the Commanding Officer conducted a briefing on the unit’s ongoing projects, challenges, and future activities. Following the briefing, the Senior Officer attended lunch at the Officers' Mess and signed the visitors’ book to commemorate the visit.
