The 542 Infantry Brigade organized a Cultural Dance Competition on 08 March 2025 at the Mannar Town Hall as part of the Clean Sri Lanka Project. The event, themed “Values of Tamil Culture Dance,” aimed to foster ethnic and social harmony, enhance the skills of school children, and strengthen trust between the Army and the Mannar community.
Fourteen school teams from the Mannar and Madhu participated in the competition.
The competition was organized under the guidance of the General Officer Commanding of the 54 Infantry Division and directions of the Commander of the 542 Infantry Brigade, and supervision of Commanding Officers of the 4 Gajaba Regiment and the 8 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment.
