Major General A.H.L.G Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc, Commander, Security Forces (West) and Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers (SLE), applauded Warrant Officer II I.G.S.B.J Ihalagedara of the 9th Field Engineer Regiment for being named the ‘Best Drill Instructor’ at the Army Inter-Regiment Drill and Pace Stick Competition 2024.
During a visit to the SLE Regimental Centre on 07th January 2025, the Colonel Commandant presented a cash incentive to Warrant Officer II Ihalagedara as a token of appreciation for his remarkable achievement.
