Colonel of the Regiment Visits 1 SLLI

Major General Y.A.B.M. Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc, Commander, Security Forces Jaffna and Colonel of the Regiment, Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI), visited 1 SLLI on 2 January 2025.

Upon arrival, he was warmly welcomed by the Commanding Officer of 1 SLLI, and addressed the troops. During his address, he emphasised the importance of professionalism, personal discipline, and respect for the Army’s honour.

Concluding the visit, he left a commemorative note in the visitors’ book. Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the visit.
