The Army War College (AWC) in Buttala celebrated its 3rd Anniversary on 17 December 2024.
The celebrations commenced with a special lunch for the residents of the 'Methsewa' Foundation School in Handapanagala on 13 December 2024. On 15 December 2024, a religious programme was conducted at the camp temple. This was followed by a shramadana campaign at the Kubukkana Saubagya Special Needs School.
The anniversary day, Commandant was accorded a Guard Turnout followed by a group photograph and troops address. The day concluded with an all-ranks lunch and a musical show.
Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
