The final certificate awarding ceremony for 30 participants, including members of the Tri-Services, Sri Lanka Police and Civil Security Department, who successfully qualified for the internationally recognized National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 4 after completing various technical courses, took place on the 02nd of April at the Ranaviru Resource Centre, Wattala.
Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP ctf-ndu psc IG, Commander of the Army, graced the event as the Chief Guest. Major General A.H.L.G Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc, Deputy Chief of Staff, Major General Priyantha Weerasinghe (Retd), Director General of the Vocational Training Authority of Sri Lanka, Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks, beneficiaries and representatives from the Vocational Training Authority of Sri Lanka were present at the ceremony.
