77th Independence Day Celebrations Held Across Northern and Eastern Regions

The 77th Independence Day celebrations conducted with a series of patriotic events across the Northern and Eastern Provinces, reaffirming its national unity and peace on 04th February 2025./p>

The succesive and commemorative events, organized by civilian communities in the areas included grand parades, religious observances, blood donation camps, sports tournaments, flag-hoisting ceremonies, and vehicle parades. These activities aimed to foster a spirit of unity and reinforce the nation’s independence while strengthening the bond between the civil communities./p>

Throughout the day Religious ceremonies were held at temples, churches, mosques, and kovils, invoking blessings for peace and prosperity in the country. Blood donation campaigns was successfully held with enthusiastic participation of civilians./p>

In addition, sports tournaments strengthened camaraderie and teamwork. The highlight of the day was the impressive parades and vehicle processions, where people proudly displayed the national flag, embodying the pride and resilience of the nation./p>
