The 592 Infantry Brigade celebrated its 17th Anniversary with a series of events on 29 December 2024, under the guidance of Brigadier K.L.I Karunanayake RWP RSP ndc, Commander of the Brigade.
In accordance with military traditions, the Brigade Commander was honoured in a Guard Turnout and later posed for a group photograph.
During his address to the troops, the Commander reflected on the Brigade's history, outlined his vision and then attended an All Ranks lunch.
The celebration also included a Cricket Tournament, followed by a Kovil Blessing Ceremony and a Bodhi Pooja Ceremony. Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks, and Civil Workers participated in the events.
