Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP ctf-ndu psc IG, Commander of the Army, ceremonially unveiled the Wall of Fame at the Sri Lanka Military Academy on 20 December 2025.
The Wall of Fame depicts former Commanders of the Army, from General S.H.S. Kottegoda (Retd) WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc, up to the present Commander of the Army, along with their official portraits and rare photographs taken during their formative years as cadet officers at the Sri Lanka Military Academy. These images reflect the professional journey of officers who commenced their military careers as cadet officers at the Academy and later rose to the esteemed appointment of Commander of the Army.
Senior officers, officers and other ranks participated in the event.
