On account of the 72nd anniversary of the Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps (SLAGSC), the SLAGSC- Seva Vanitha Branch (SLAGSC-SVB) together with the Central Blood Bank at Narahenpita arranged a blood donation campaign on Thursday (21 Dec) at the SLAGSC Regimental HQ in Panagoda.

The cocommunity-oriented project was arranged under the guidance of Dr Himali Niyangoda, Chairperson, SLAGSC-SVB and Major General W.W.H.R.R.V.M.N.D.K.B Niyangoda RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc, Colonel Commandant, SLAGSC.

Lions Club of Colombo Centennial provided the required sponsorship for the programme and a large crowd of troops serving in the Security Forces Headquarters – West voluntarily donated their blood during the event.
