Troops of the 24 Infantry Division organized a school accessory donation program for underprivileged students at the Bakmitiyawa School, Ampara on 20 February 2024. The event, valued at Rs. 400,000, provided school supplies to 129 students.

Major General W. Chandrasiri RSP USP psc, the General Officer Commanding of the 24 Infantry Division, graced the occasion as the chief guest. The program was made possible through the financial contribution of Hemas Manufacturing (Pvt) Ltd, coordinated by Mr. T.M. Jayarathna.

Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks and representatives from Hemas Manufacturing (Pvt) Ltd participated in the event.
