Major General I.H.M.R.K Herath USP ndc psc assumed office as the new Chief Signal Officer (CSO) during a simple ceremony at the Army HQ on Wednesday (03 Jan).

Amidst religious observances and 'Seth Pirith' Major General I.H.M.R.K Herath USP ndc psc, placed his signature on an official document, signifying the acceptance of the new appointment. Soon after assuming duties, he addressed the officers and members of the staff, outlining his vision for the future.

In addition to his new appointment, he also holds the appointment of Director General of the Directorate of Media and Psychological Operations.
