The customary Sinhala and Tamil New Year tea table and cordial get-together at the Army Headquarters (AHQ) got underway on Monday (17) morning with Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage RWP RSP ndu, Commander of the Army, gracing the occasion as the Chief Guest. As the second segment of the itinerary, the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage during his visit to the East took time off to see the Army Farm at Galkanda and inspected the egg production process, being carried out under the supervision of the 3 (V) Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture and Livestock (SLACAL).
