A donor, resident in Melbourne, Australia, following coordination, done by the 651 Brigade of the Security Force Headquarters - Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN), has come forward to assist two families, engaged in carpentry for their sustenance.
Mr Wasantha Jayasinghe, the expatriate bought carpentry tools and equipment to the value of Rs 50,000/= and donated to two families with the motive of assisting them to improve their vocation further. Both families with children live in Mulankavil area and are dependent on carpentry.
Several officers and other rankers were present at the time the donation was made.
