Soldier Turned Author Presents His Works to Commander

Maiden copies of five books, authored by an Army Warrant Officer on varying subjects covering sociological and psychological aspects vis-à-vis military life of a soldier, were presented to the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Daya Ratnayake this morning (9) at the Commander’s office by the author himself.  
   
Those books, compiled by Warrant Officer II, Priyantha Lal Kumara of Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps (SLAMC) are titled, ‘Minisun Lesa Upan Apa Nominisun Nowemu’, ‘Thimira Pata Medin’, ‘Pasal Daruwa, Adyapanaya Saha Degurun’, Bindunu Piyapath’ and ‘Yahapath Paul Jivitayak Kara’, revolves round a series of episodes, occurring in society and how they are related to soldiers serving the country.

The Commander after receiving those productions praised the author for taking an initiative of this nature, despite the workload he performs in the Army. While assuring support for such works in the future, the Commander wished him good luck with his endeavour.
