211 Brigade troops with sponsorship provided by Ja-ela ‘Nimpura Traders’ Association’ distributed CDs containing the National Anthem and a publication on use of National Flag and Anthem among school children during a ceremony at Vavuniya South Education Zonal office premises.
These items valued more than Rs 55,000.00 were given away among 100 schools in the Vauniya South Education Zone.
Mrs Anton Somaraja, Director Vauniya South Education Zone, Lieutenant Colonel T.M.G.B Tennakoon, Civil Affairs Officer, 211 Brigade and representatives of Ja-ela ‘Nimpura Traders’ Association’ were present at the occasion.
