Tug of War Championships in DSG Won by Army

The Tug of War Championship event in the 12th Defence Service Games (DSG) took place at the Sri Lanka Air Force Base Katunayake during 26 - 28 October.

During this championship, Army male competitors in 640 kg weight class secured the championship 2 - 0 against players in the Sri Lanka Navy during the finals.

Similarly, Army female players in 560 kg weight class beating Navy counterparts emerged champions 2 - 0 in the championship, competed by Army, Navy and Air Force female teams.
