The newly-appointed Counsellor (Defence) to the Sri Lanka’s Embassy in Jakarta, Indonesia, Captain (G) A.A.C Karunasena RSP USP psc of Sri Lanka Navy on Thursday (27) paid a courtesy call on the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage at the Army Headquarters in Sri Jayawardenepura.
The Army Chief extending his best wishes to Captain (G) A.A.C Karunasena RSP USP psc, underlined the importance of the appointment and the roles that could be played as a diplomat for the best interests of the country.
At the end of this cordial meeting, Commander of the Army presented a memento as a token of good will to the departing DA.
