SLAVF Gets Banking Sector Support to Learn More about Financial Management

An awareness programme on 'Financial Management through Discipline' that coincides with the routine training day was launched at the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force (SLAVF) multi-functional hall on 10 August on a conceptual notion, suggested by Major General Sujeewa Senarath Yapa, Commandant, SLAVF.

The Hatton National Bank, one of the reputed financial institutes of the country contributed its human resources to the success of the day's programme. The lecture was conducted by Mr Priyankara Jayaratna, Senior Manager, Hatton National Bank.

The financial literacy in managing wages with strict discipline was discussed under the subject theme and underlined the adoption of current challenges. Further, the programme covered cost management and other possible investments that can heighten the monthly income, etc.

A gathering of Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks of the SLAVF Headquarters attended the sessions.
