New Director at Research Concept & Doctrine Begins Duties

Brigadier Anuruddha Seneviratne of the Sri Lanka Engineers (SLE) assumed office on Tuesday (19) as the 3rd Director, Directorate of Research Concept and Doctrine at the Army Headquarters during a brief ceremony.

After brief religious observances, the newly-appointed Director signed an official document, signifying the acceptance of his new office.

Staff Officers in the Directorate and Other Ranks attended the inauguration of the new office.

He succeeded Brigadier Anil Peiris, who has now been appointed Deputy Commandant at the Defence Service Command and Staff College at Sapugaskanda.

Brigadier Anuruddha Seneviratne served as the Deputy Commandant of the Defence Service Command and Staff College, prior to his new appointment.
