Secretary Defence Extends Best Wishes to New Commander of the Army

The newly-appointed 24th Commander of the Army Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage on Thursday (2) paid courtesies to the Secretary to Ministry of Defence General Kamal Gunaratne (Retd) at the Ministry of Defence.

During this courtesy call, General Kamal Gunaratne (Retd) extended best wishes and greetings on the new appointment. Both of them discussed matters of relevance during the meet.

At the end of the courtesy meeting, Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage awarded a memento to the Secretary Defence.
