Troops with Sponsors Provide Drinking Water to Students

561 Brigade troops of the 56 Division under the Security Force Headquarters - Wanni showing their good heart, in another essential community project, recently extended their support by erecting a drinking water facility for the benefit of students learning at Periyakulam Government Tamil Mixed School in Kanagarayankulam.

The Pathmahansa Community Service Organization provided the sponsorship for its cost in collaboration with the 561 Brigade troops after realizing the importance of the project to those school students who were without such facility for a long time.

Major General Saman Liyanage, General Officer Commanding of the 56 Division and Brigadier Priyanga Kulathilaka, 561 Brigade Commander, closely coordinated this community-oriented project. The inauguration of the facility took place during a simple ceremony in the school premises.

Brigadier Priyanga Kulathilaka, 561 Brigade Commander, Civil Affairs Officer, 561 Brigade, Major S.A.R.N Perera, Major Administration and Quartering, together with several Officers and Other Ranks participated in the inaugural ceremony.
