SLAMC Troops Continue Their Island-wide Booster Vaccination

The Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps (SLAMC) troops continue to contribute to the national vaccination drive against COVID-19 pandemic around the island by providing the Pfizer booster dose for all above 20 years.

SLAMC troops with close coordination with regional MOH offices and officials conducting this process are engaged in the task as a national requirement in order for all Sri Lankans to stand together as one nation.

This process is encouraged by the Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army, General Shavendra Silva under the supervision of the 1 Corps Commander and six other Commanders of the Security Forces.

This process is done inside vaccination centres and also through mobile vaccination units, prioritizing the aged, the invalid, senior citizens and differently-able communities in specific areas.
