'Ammunition and Explosives Technical Course No - 09' Holds its Awarding Ceremony

Award of certificates and badges to trainees in the 'Local Ammunition and Explosives Technical Course No - 09', conducted at 3rd Regiment Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps took place on 6th March 2021.

Brigadier Indrajith Vithanachchi, Commandant, Central Arms and Ammunition Depot as the Chief Guest and Lieutenant Colonel G.T.S Silva, Commandant, School of Ordnance were present at the event on the invitation of Lieutenant Colonel W.S.D Fernando, Commanding Officer, 5th Regiment Sri Lanka Army Ordinance Corps.

Before the start of the ceremony, Brigadier Indrajith Vithanarachchi, Lieutenant Colonel G.T.S Silva, Commandant, School of Ordinance planted saplingings inside the premises to mark the culmination of the Course and award of certificates and badges.

Course students submitted a presentation on "Destruction of unserviceable Ammunition" which was highly appreciated by the Chief guests of the event. Lance Corporal Buddhika was awarded as the Best Student of the Ammunition and Technician course No.09 among 24 Students.
