13,714 PCR Tests Done on Wednesday (24) - NOCPCO

As of this morning (25), a total of 458 more persons were confirmed positive to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. All of them are locally-identified ones, including the majority 94 from Colombo district, 76 from Gampaha district, 59 from Ratnapura district and 229 others from different districts, states the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

By this morning (25), a total of 81,466 persons, inclusive of 77,868 of the fish market and Minuwangoda Brandix cluster have been confirmed positive to COVID-19 from all over the country, including the dead. 76,513 fully-recovered COVID-19 patients have been so far discharged from hospitals and the rest 4,496 are still under treatment in hospitals and care centers.

In the past 24 hours, 672 recovered patients have left hospitals and care centres. 4 more deaths have been reported from Mount Lavinia, Kotugoda, Boralesgamuwa and Wattala areas in the past 24 hours. Accordingly, the COVID-19 death toll in the country rose to 457 by this morning (25).

As of this morning (25), 10,075 persons in 95 tri service-managed QCs are still in quarantine. Within yesterday (24) 13,714 PCR tests have been conducted. Nike footwear | Air Jordan
