Wanni Commander Makes First Visits to 562 Brigade & its under Command Units

The formal first visit of the Commander, Security Forces - Wanni, Major General Hemantha Bandara to 562 Brigade in Echchankulam and its under command Battalions took place on Monday (22).

The visiting Commander was honoured in a Guard Turnout at 562 Infantry Brigade Headquarters on arrival and invited to plant a sapling at the Brigade premises by the 562 Brigade Commander, Brigadier Senaka Premawansa. Thereafter a briefing on role & tasks of 562 Infantry Brigade was conducted by the Brigade Commander, followed by a field visit to Battalions of 15 SLSR and 17 SLSR.
