787 More Confirmed Positive During last 24 Hours – NOCPCO

As of this morning (23), a total of 787 more persons were confirmed positive to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. Among them were 3 Sri Lankan expatriates and other 784 are locally-identified ones, including the majority 139 from Gampaha district, 108 from Kandy district, 101 from Colombo district and other 436 from different districts, states the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

By this morning (23), a total of 56,862 persons have been confirmed positive to COVID-19 from all over the country, including the dead. 48, 616 fully-recovered COVID-19 patients have been so far discharged from hospitals and the rest 7,968 are still under treatment in hospitals and care centres.

By this morning (23), 633 recovered patients have left hospitals and care centres in the past 24 hours. Two more deaths have been reported from Colombo and Homagama areas in the past 24 hours. Accordingly, the COVID-19 death toll in the country rose to 278 by this morning (23).

As of this morning (23), 8141 persons in 90 tri service-managed QCs are still in quarantine. Within yesterday (22), 19,285PCR tests have been conducted. Sportswear Design | balerínky
