Lecture on ‘Leadership and Motivation’ Educates Battalion School Trainees

Intending to motivate the new batch of 6 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment who began training at Battalion Training School at Ampakamam, the General Officer Commanding of the 57 Division Major General Sujeewa Senerath Yapa, delivered a lecture to the trainees on ‘Leadership and Motivation’ on Tuesday (8).

The programme was conducted with the aim of introducing innovative approaches to groom the soldier's integrity, discipline and develop their attitudes to improve working efficiency towards the organization in order to effectively execute the mission command concept in ground.

The techniques of handling/managing the situations and enhancing the thinking capacity of the soldiers, related to the present context were deeply discussed during the workshop and practical sessions. The Chief Instructor of the Battalion Training School, Commanding Officer and all Officers, Other Ranks of 6th Battalion of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment participated in the day's programme.
