Two More COVID-19 Deaths Reported-NOCPCO

As of this morning (10), a total of 697 more persons were confirmed positive to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. All 697 of them, except three Sri Lankan expatriates, others are locally-identified affectees. Of those persons, 357 are from Colombo, 219 from Gampaha, 8 from Kandy and others are from different districts, states the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

By 6.00 this morning (10), the total number of COVID-19 positive cases reported from Minuwangoda garment factory employees and Peliyagoda Fish Market cluster stands at 26,512. Meanwhile, 18,392 fully-recovered COVID-19 patients from both Minuwangoda (3,059) and fish market (23,453) clusters have been discharged from hospitals.

Up to yesterday (9), a total of 30,074 persons have been confirmed COVID-19 positive from all over the country, including the dead. 21,799 fully-recovered COVID-19 patients have been so far discharged from hospitals and the rest 8,131are still under treatment in hospitals and care centres.

By this morning (10), 542 persons recovered patients have left hospitals and care centres. To-date, 144 COVID-19 positive deaths have been reported. 2 COVID-19 deaths were reported in the past 24 hours from Colombo 10 and Colomo 15 areas.

By this morning (10), the flight QR 668 from Qatar with 36 passengers has arrived in Colombo. The flight WY 371 from Oman with 50 passengers, the flight UL 186 from Pakistan with 03 passengers, the flight UL 108 from Dubai with 175 passengers, the flight UL 1510 from Dubai with 104 passengers and the flight UL 554 from Germany with 36 passengers are expected to arrive in Sri Lanka. They all were/were to be referred to Quarantine Centres (QCs), managed by tri-services upon their arrival after formalities at the airport.

As of this morning (10), 6,366 persons in 64 tri service-managed QCs are still in quarantine. Within yesterday (9), 14,336 PCR tests were carried out.Best Nike Sneakers | Men’s shoes
