Jaffna Troops Conduct Daily Distribution of Cooked Meals to Paupers

Troops of the Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna, taking an own initiative after imposition of curfew hours against the spread of COVID -19 outbreak have been in the practice of distributing 300 pre-cooked lunch packets every day among poor civilians lying along the roads since 21 March 2020.

Troops volunteered to contribute to the project as one of their community-oriented projects after their plight was brought to the notice by the Commander, Security Forces - Jaffna, Major General Ruwan Wanigasooriya.
