68 Division Troops Support Distribution of Relief Packs among the Underprivileged

Troops of the 68 Division under command to the Security Force HQ- Mullaittivu on Tuesday (7) coordinated the distribution of ' Manusath Derana'-sponsored relief packs for needy people in Puthukuduirippu and Suganthipuram villages.

Troops in consultation with respective Grama Niladharin (state officials) assisted to select 75 low-income groups who deserve such assistance due to prevailing curfew hours and difficulties they are undergoing at present to make a living. 'Manusath Derana' representatives, together with Major General Jagath Rathnayake, General Officer Commanding, 68 Division and 683 Brigade Commander took part in the distribution of those relief essentials.
