A five-day long workshop for middle-grade Officers on the development of soft skills got underway at the Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna (SFHQ-J) during 25 - 29 November with professional assistance, provided by the Soft Skills International Ltd in collaboration with the Directorate of Training.
The programme, initiated on a notion, proposed by Major General Ruwan Wanigasooriya, Commander, Security Forces - Jaffna (SF-J) was conducted by Mrs Sulakshana Fernando, Director/Chief Executive Officer and Captain (Retd) Sumeda Mirihana of the Soft Skills International Ltd.
A total of 25 Officers representing 51, 52 and 55 Divisions participated in the workshop which covered topics, such as speech craft, personality development, self-development and confidence during the 5-day long sessions.
