The new Governor for Northern Province Mr H.M.G.S Palihakkara on Tuesday (24) made a courtesy visit to the Security Force Headquarters - Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) with the objective of receiving an update on the ongoing community projects of the Army and the general security situation in the area.
Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe, Commander, SFHQ-KLN after welcoming him for the first time at the SFHQ-KLN, presented a briefing to him and explained him the series of community roles being performed by the Army.
Before the departure of the Governor, Major General Ranasinghe gifted him a symbolic memento as a gesture of goodwill.
