Troops of 7 (V) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment in the 121 Brigade, contributed to the ongoing conservation project of the Yudaganawa Dagoba at Yudaganawa Rajamaha Viharaya, Buttala during the weekend (Feb 28 – March 1).
Following a request made by the Chief Incumbent at Yudaganawa Rajamaha Viharaya to Colonel B.M.J Balasooriya, General Officer Commanding, 12 Division and under the supervision of the Commanding Officer, 17 (V) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, 30 Army Personnel cleaned the temple premises and helped in laying bricks on the Stupa (Dagoba). Villagers in the area also volunteered during the campaign.
