Students at the Kanagapuram Central College, Kilinochchi visited the Army organized photographic exhibition at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) in connection with the just concluded Army Colour’s Night during February11-12.
7 Sri Lanka Artillery (SLA) troops taking the initiative organized the tour as per directions of Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe, Commander Security Forces Headquarters –Killinochchi (SFHQ -KLN) with a view to encouraging them to engage in sports.
The group, comprised of 2 teachers and 37 students under the programme attended the photographic exhibition and visited the Parliament, Viharamaha Devi Park, Nelum Pokuna and Independent square and a few other places during their stay in Colombo.
Food, lodging and transport for the visit were arranged by the SFHQ (KLN) with the support of the Commercial Credit Company and the ‘Three Sinha’ organization.
