Troops of the 15 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) under the 651 Brigade of the 65 Division under the Security Force Headquarters-Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) distributed school stationery and a stock of readymade garments among 18 students, learning in Grades 3 and 7 and also among 15 civilians in Kaneshapuram, Vellamkulam and Thevaipiddi areas during Tuesday and Wednesday (20 -21).
Selection of those students and needy civilians was done in consultation with Gramaseva officials in respective areas as one more social service project of the 651 Brigade.
Commanding Officer, officers and other ranks of 15 SLSR, students and members of the general public in the area attended the distributing ceremony.
