Troops of the 12 Division, commanded by Brigadier D.S.N.K Senadheera, General Officer Commanding with the objective of assisting patients in Hambantota hospitals, conducted a blood donation campaign at the 12 Division Headquarters for the 4th consecutive time on Tuesday (23).
A group of 204 officers and other ranks serving the 12 Division from various Brigades, Training Schools and Units joined the day’s programme at Hambantota.
A medical team from the blood centre of Hambantota Southern Zone, including doctors contributed to the successful conduct of the programme, meant to boost existing relations between a civil the society and the Army personnel.
