A section of officers and other ranks serving the 222 Brigade of the Security Force Headquarters-East (SFHQ-E) on Friday (19) listened to a lecture on ‘Civil Law,’ delivered by a senior Police officer at the 222 Brigade Headquarters.
The arrangement, initiated by Major General Lal Perera, Commander, SFHQ-E with the objective of educating the troops saw Mr Sanjeewa Bandara, Assistant Superintendant of Police (ASP) for Kantale Police Division, delivering the lecture which covered basic tenets of the civil law.
Colonel M.R.K.W.B Pinnawala, 222 Brigade Commander and about 160 officers and other ranks listened to the orator who spoke about 4 hours, explaining all facets of the subject.
