Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe, Commander, Security Force Headquarters Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) ceremonially opened the newly-constructed Harmony Information Technology (IT) Laboratory at the ‘Harmony Centre’, Kilinochchi on Monday (25).
Computers were donated by ‘Jananam Institution’, ‘Foundation of Goodness’ and ‘Foundation of Humanity’. 12 computers and Rs.75000.00, 10 computers and 5 computers were donated respectively by those organizations.
In addition, 4 computers were also donated to Ramanathapuram School, Akkarayankulam Maha Vidyalaya, Konavil Tamil Mix School and Walaipadu Raman Catholic Vidyalaya in Kilinochchi area under the patronage of the ‘Foundation of Humanity’.
Major General Ranasinghe graced the occasion as the chief guest. General Officer Commanding of 57 and 65 Divisions, Brigade Commander, 571 Brigade, Mr. Janagan, Director, Jananam Foundation, Mr. Keerthi Wickramarathna, Chairman, Foundation of Humanity and Manager, Blue Bay Mineral, Director General, National Apprentice and Industrial Training Authority (NAITA), Principals, Parents and approximately 100 students were attended this occasion.
