Troops of the 11 Division under the Security Force Headquarters Central (SFHQ-C) rush to maintain essential services of several hospitals in the SFHQ-C area due to the trade union action, staged by medical assistants in the health sector on Wednesday (20).
More than 300 Army personnel from Sri Lanka Signal Corps (SLSC), Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR), Gajaba Regiment (GR), Sri Lanka Mechanical and Electrical Engineers (SLEME), Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps (SLAWC), Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) and Sri Lanka Rifle Corps (SLRC) provided such assistance to the General Hospital, Kandy, General Hospital, Peradeniya, General Hospital, Nuwara Eliya, General Hospital, Badulla, Base Hospital, Hambantota and Base Hospital, Debarawewa.
