Live telecast of the sessions in the recent ‘Defence Seminar - Sri Lanka: Challenges to a Rising Nation’ at Colombo Galadari Hotel were viewed through online www.army.lk (official Army website) and www.defseminar.lk by officers and other ranks of the Security Force Headquarters, Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) during all three days (Aug 18-20).
On the instructions of Commander of the Army, all SF Hqrs screened live web telecasts at respective SFHQ premises around the country.
Under the directions of Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe, Commander, SFHQ-KLN, the live web telecast, screened at SFHQ-KLN auditorium during respective days, were eagerly watched by officers.
Approximately 250 officers sat together to watch live telecasts.
